Adventure headgear with authentic Lizard style
Recognize those contour lines? They are none other than the classic design from the Purple Lizard cartography found on the Pine Creek Lizard Map.
Just like our lizard maps, beautiful design meets excellent function! It works great as a headband when you're sweating out some trail miles on warmer days and even as an ear warmer on cold days. It stashes easily when you don't need it and fits easily under a bike or ski helmet.
The Lizard Hoo-rag is made of 100 percent polyester microfiber that wicks away moisture and protects you from the sun’s harmful rays! Rated to 30 UPF.A perfect gift for yourself or the outdoor enthusiast in your life
One size fits all. Pairs well with a Lizard map of any flavor.
Be safe and warm in the forest during hunting seasons and all year long with these sweet knit caps from Purple Lizard! A simple, one-size-fits-all beanie in bright orange, bright blue, grey or black will keep your brain warm and toasty. The orange is perfect for telling others "Hey - I'm over here - don't shoot!" These are 100% acrylic knit hats: we call them a beanie, if you're Canadian you can call them toques. Either way, they are soft and warm and cozy, almost like a cat -- except it's pretty rare to find a bright orange cat that stays on your head while hiking.
Don't want Screaming Warning Orange visibility? No problem - try the Lizard Special Ops Black Beanie, it's the exact opposite of hi-vis orange and the perfect compliment to your invisibility cloak, assuming you're wandering about in the dark.
Somewhere in the middle of the Screaming Warning Orange to Black color spectrum is the Lizard beanie in Bright Blue, and the even more normal beanie in Heather Grey. Some days a Bright Blue beanie is necessary to boost your spirits. And sometimes a Heather Grey beanie is pretty much required. It may be best to be prepared for anything and grab them all.
Our 100% organic cotton Lizard Hat by econscious lets cooler heads prevail while making your own adventures! Available in several colors all with an embroidered Purple Lizard to help guide you down the trail.
Color names in the clothing industry can be confusing - Natural is off-white, Gravel is grey, Maroon is the reddish-purple, and Jungle is the mossy green.
One size fits all - they have an adjustable headband - so that is one less decision you have to make!
Our hats are embroidered by a local Central PA shop by folks that actually use Lizard Maps. They even sourced a really sweet shade of purple thread just for us. We love supporting local businesses on a hyper-local scale - they are right down the road from us.

Michaux is such a big, beautiful forest that it deserves its own Lizard sticker. This 5x2 inch sticker tells the world you love Michaux! Although it is cryptic enough that most people will have no idea why you are displaying a purple lizard on a frenchman's name. Is it the psychedelic poet and painter Henri Michaux? Or French botanist and explorer André Michaux (1746–1802)?
Of course you know it pays homage to botanist François André Michaux (1770–1855), son of André Michaux and the namesake of Michaux State Forest. Or you had no idea about any of that and it just means you love this awesome forest called Michaux!
Either way you'll have a sweet sticker to show off your newfound knowledge of history while confusing the majority of the population.
The Purple Lizard patch is about as rare as a two dollar bill, and that is what we'll trade you for it! It's a 2.5 x 1.5 inch oval patch with heat activated glue on the back so you can iron it on to whatever you want to Lizardize in your wardrobe. Take that fancy brand jacket and put a Lizard patch over the logo, and everyone will ask where you got a Purple Lizard jacket! Or no-one will notice - could go either way.
We suggest you follow up with a sewing machine and permanently attach your patch if you want to insure it stays along for a global adventure. Sew these on your backpacks, bike bags, ball caps, beanies, baggies - it doesn't have to start with a 'b' - you are free to use the Lizard patch wherever you think is best!
We would actually love it if you mailed us a real $2 bill in trade, but we understand if you'd rather click your way thru the e-pay options.
And yes, we do love that scene in Better Off Dead.
The 413 Lizard Sticker is all about Rincon, Puerto Rico. Route 413 starts in Rincon and follows the ocean North around Puntas, and is known locally as 'The Highway to Happiness'. Other 413 stickers portray it as a US Interstate sign, but being true to our cartographic roots (routes?) we designed the Lizard 413 stickers with real world accuracy true to the actual highway signs, because that's just how we roll. And we love to roll down 413!
The large 413 Lizard sticker says 'Estas Aqui' which means You are Here in english with our surfer icon (that denotes surf breaks on the map) catching a barrel in the 3. The small Lizard 413 sticker is more cryptic, which is how we like our favorite places.
The big one is 4 x 3 inches and visible from at least 50 feet, while and the small one is 2 x 1.5 inches, perfect for your water bottle, cell phone or laptop. We always get a kick out of wandering the streets of Rincon and seeing them on local cars!
Like all of our stickers, they are the highest quality, UV resistant, heavy duty vinyl stickers we can find to be worthy of a Lizard. Perfect to adorn your bumper, back window, roof rack, laptop, cooler or water bottle to remind you of where you've been and where you'd (probably) rather be.
You get both stickers for $3.00
The 75 Lizard Sticker shows your love of exploring special places while being wonderfully cryptic about what they may be. Those who have driven along the paved roads anxiously waiting to find that lovely sign for Forest Road 75 know what it means. Those who don't, we suggest you get your hands on a Dolly Sods/Seneca Rocks Lizard Map and find your way to FS75 as soon as possible!
The 75 Lizard Sticker is 3 inches square, er, well, whatever shape that sorta rectangular triangle squeezed shape of a National Forest road sign is. Like all of our stickers, it is the highest quality, UV resistant, heavy duty vinyl sticker we can find to be worthy of a Lizard. Perfect to adorn your bumper, back window, roof rack, laptop, cooler or water bottle to remind you of where you've been and where you'd (probably) rather be.
