About This Hip Sack
This custom built hip pack from our good friends at Nittany Mountain Works is the perfect companion for your explorations!
Perfectly sized for a days rations on the trail or to keep some essentials on-board when wandering in the city. Large front pocket for quick access to a wallet and other often used items... like your Lizard Maps, which fit perfectly!
What can you carry in this very hip Hip sack? We stuffed it with a pile of things we often bring on a short hike. We put in 4 Lizard maps, a dog leash, a GPS unit, a bandana, a little first aid kit, a Lizard Ditty Bag, some mints, car keys and wallet, a headlamp, and a cell phone. And when we got back we had added a cool turkey feather we found on the trail. (Just to be extra clear - none of this stuff comes with the Lizard Deluxe Hip Sack, you'll have to find your own turkey feather!)
Horizontal daisy chain spans front of pack for attaching things like carabiners or a blinky light for nighttime runs or rides. The elastic keeper loops on the waist strap keep the pack streamlined when in use. Made from 1000D Cordura Nylon.
Made in Pennsylvania by real people working in a 100% solar powered building in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, right smack in the middle of the Moshannon-Quehanna Lizard Map! How cool is that? You can check them out here.

What Lizard Map Customers Say:
"Thank you for making such amazing, thought provoking, and humorous maps. (Who’d ever think you could say these things about a map?!) Purple Lizard maps take adventuring to the next level!"
Lisa
"Got my map today in time to plan our biking/hiking/rafting trip to Ohiopyle State Park next week. This map is so frigging detailed I told my wife we don’t even need to take the trip – we can just find endless adventures simply gazing at the map!"

I am finding more and more value in your maps primarily because you have updated trails, and have added new trails, that may not show on even the latest USGS 7.5 Minute topos ... and of course there are many new roads that have been put in over the last 20-30 years that again, are not on many of the latest USGS topos."
